The World Pollution is one of the most important problems of these last decades, and this due to all the modern human activities started two hundred years ago. Our Earth is dying and that’s our fault.
The consequences are many and often connected between them: by the air pollution comes the global warming and the higher temperature makes the poles’ ices melt, this increases the sea level killing many animals. But why do we create air pollution? Because we produce products for our personal necessities, without thinking to all these consequences, and we keep buying these products and using them and throw them away.
The main problem is the last point: we never stop buying products because we’re always in need, there is not enough permanent stuff in our life, and who is going to pay? The Earth. Scientists have discovered, in 1988, a massive island entirely made of plastic. Tons and tons of trash were brought there, in the northern part of the Pacific Ocean, by the sea, and it keeps growing day after day. Billions of microscopic pieces of plastic are now haunting the sea.
Here’s the point: fish eat that plastic, which stores in their body, and guess who eats fish? You! That’s right! And even if you don’t care about either the sea or the animals, hopefully you’ll care about your health, and plastic fish is not healthy at all, but it’s your fault, it’s everybody’s fault. You can be the difference, you can make the difference: the 80% of the plastic produced in one year ends in a trashcan, try to reduce that! Scientists are divided, some say it’s too late to save the Earth, others say the change is possible if done quickly, but all of them agree on one thing: all this has gone too far, the problem is real and big and needs a solution.
There is no choice: if we don’t get together and fight against the climate changes our race will extinct soon. Let’s stay together, let’s fight together, because this is our planet, our home, and the slogan “There is no planet B” is sadly true.
